Danny Borbon
Danny Borbon is a New York-based actor, writer, and producer. He can be seen alongside Mike Birbiglia in IFC’s Sleepwalk With Me. His other credits include Waiting for the Blackout, 50 Cent’s The Oath, and his own produced feature, Calambre! He is currently in post-production for his short film, Soledad in New York.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY where he currently resides, Danny fell in love with acting right after booking his first audition for an NYU film. Soon after playing his first role, he signed up for a 1-year acting course at The Barrow Group Theater Company. It was there he learned how meaningful & impactful stories can be. An avid reader, Danny spends his time writing, swimming, and playing baseball. As a Dominican-American, he hopes to bring film & storytelling to the forefront of the Dominican Republic.
